The ZeroWaste two-layer wooden floor collection by Jawor-Parkiet was among the winners of the 29th edition of Dobry Wzór competition, winning the main award for the best-designed products on the Polish market.

 Dobry Wzór 2022 Award in the competition organised by the Institute of Industrial Design for ZeroWaste is a confirmation of the high-end design, innovation and aesthetics of our two-layer floor collection.

Dobry Wzór is the oldest Polish design competition promoting the best designed products and services available on the Polish market. In this year's edition, an interdisciplinary jury awarded products and services in ten categories. The ZeroWaste collection won in the “Home” category and “Kitchen and Dining Room” subcategory. During the gala ceremony held on 17 November at the registered office of the Institute of Industrial Design, Dobry Wzór 2022 award granted to the ZeroWaste collection was collected by Grzegorz Sadowski, Marketing and Sales Network Development Director at Jawor-Parkiet.

The ZeroWaste collection is presented at a cyclical post-competition exhibition, alongside the other products awarded and nominated for the finals, at the registered office of the Institute of Industrial Design at St. Świętojerska 5/7 in Warsaw. The exhibition can be visited until 13 December 2022 and, as every year, is accompanied by a bilingual catalogue of the awarded products.

Beauty is hidden in nature. This is what the ZeroWaste collection reminds us of, as it uniquely showcases the natural qualities of wood. In line with the design concept, it turns its apparent imperfections into product advantages and distinctive features. On the surface of the floors, natural colour differences, numerous knots, cracks and rich growth rings are visible. The collection was created as a response to the contemporary challenges of protecting the environment and natural resources as well as the expectations of customers who are concerned with the welfare of the planet and care for sustainable development.

Refining processes such as oil-waxing, brushing and four-sided bevelling further enhance the charm of the floors. Inspired by the colours of nature and the elements, the colours of the collection present delicate shades of beige, natural and deep browns as well as muted white. The names of the decors form the name of the collection: Zenith, Earth, Rain, Organic, Water, Air, Stream, Timber, Energy. The tenth additional decor of the collection is the light brown Cloud, subtle as a cloud.
