Rustic floor with a deep, dark color is like a time machine, which will take us to a traditional, Warmian-Masurian countryside. What distinguishes it are decorative horizontal saw traces and irregular bevel. The floor will be a natural match for loft-style interiors as well as raw and minimalistic suburban and countryside mansions.

Type of finishes
  • 4 layers of oil-wax finish

    Oil-wax: Infiltrates the structure of wood, underlining its natural beauty and, at the same, preserving the floor. Requires more frequent maintenance, but enables to make spot renovations.
  • iko szczotka Brushing

    Involves brushing the soft parts of the grain to produce fine hollows.It gives the floor an aged effect.
  • iko 12 pila Horizontal saw marks

    Saw cuts perpendicular to the edge of the board on the surface of the board. The marks of varying intensity give the floor a very rustic character.
  • iko 8 nier Irregular bevel

    The irregular bevelling consists of different endings of the edges of particular flooring elements. With a permissible bevel of V2, V4 or no bevel at all, each board gains its own unique character and appearance

    The floor is prepared to be applied on underfloor heating.

Oak is the most valued native species of deciduous trees. Naturally grows in Europe and locally in western Asia. It is a long-lived tree, growing for more than 300 years. Inividual specimens can have even 1000 years. Oak can be up to 40 m high.  
Oaken wood has a light-brown to dark-brown color. Each growth ring starts at least one or more rows of vessels with good lighting, which makes the rings easily visible. It is possible for numerous knots to appear.

 
Oak belongs to the category of medium shrinkable wood with a high level of hardness and density. It is density which is responsible for its high mechanical properties. This wood is characterized by high compressing and static bending strength.  

The most attractive from the esthetical point of view is a radial section with silver grain visible, underlined through finishing with varnish layers. Oak wood is considered a universal material with numerous uses. Can be applied both indoors and outdoors.

Retro Collection / Handmade Line

 

The Handmade line was inspired by the design of traditional buildings in Warmia and Mazury. This region was extremely rich in wooden construction - years ago, thick oak logs, rectangular blocks and classic planks with numerous knots were used here. In order to achieve the exceptionally rustic character of the floors, the wood is subjected to numerous processes such as manual planing, intensive brushing, staining and oiling. On the surface, natural cracks and discolorations are exposed, which are reminiscent of traces of many years of use.
