Jawor Parkiet Designers Weekend

Amusements and knowledge at the Jawor-Parkiet Designers Weekend

During the Jawor-Parkiet Designers Weekend, from 25-27 November, we hosted as many as 120 people. Architects, franchisees and special guests. Together with event partners: Kontakt-Simon, Omnires and Osmo, we provided participants with a weekend full of fun and substantive knowledge.

The Jawor-Parkiet Designers Weekend began with a welcome dinner at the Mortęgi Palace. The special guests of the inaugural evening were the Jawor-Parkiet Brand Ambassadors, Edyta and Cezary Pazura. During a live interview they gave on stage, they talked, among other things, about their role as ambassadors, why the brand and Jawor-Parkiet products are particularly close to them and what they love Warmia and Masuria for. Friday evening was graced with a stand-up performance by Cezary Pazura and a daring performance by the instrumental duo “Need for Strings”.

For Saturday, we planned a factory tour as well as substantive training. To begin with, we took guests to our factory to show how the production of two-layer wooden floors takes place. During this visit, the attendees, including architects, were keen to learn the ins and outs of how floorboards and parquets are made at every stage. The guests were full of praise for the high production standards and the technologies implemented. They were very impressed by the fact that as many as 80 per cent of the staff are ladies. A souvenir photo against the background of an impressive billboard promoting the “Floors with claws” campaign was a nice touch at the end of the factory tour.

In the second part of the day, the attendees of the Jawor-Parkiet Designers Weekend took part in training courses and workshops organised by Jawor-Parkiet and the event's partners. Omnires representatives presented, among other things, bathroom faucets with original designs as well as original, colourful washbasins made of modern materials.

Partners from Kontakt-Simon, a company offering switches, sockets and electrical equipment, talked about the range, presenting product collections in a rich selection that allows equipment to be matched to any interior design.

The workshop with the Osmo brand, manufacturer of wood impregnants,  including oils and waxes with which Jawor-Parkiet floors are finished, had a practical nature. The participating architects had the opportunity to carry out their own impregnation of smaller floor elements using natural Osmo products. The workshops provided an opportunity to learn about the rich colour palette of oils and waxes, and the creative shades created by the designers were a contribution to the discussion of new colour trends in the wooden floor range.
