The winners of the Jawor-Parkiet Design Awards 2023 have been announced

The 5th edition of the Jawor-Parkiet interior competition has been resolved. From among 300 submitted applications, the jury selected the best works in the "project" category and in the "implementation" category, awarding the main prizes: a cash prize of 10,000 PLN in each category and distinctions: a social media audits and a professional image sessions.

In the creative competition for architects, designers and students of architecture-related faculties, what counted was the idea for the interior, the originality and functionality of the project and the way the wooden floor was presented.

The main prize in the "project" category went to Joanna Walkowicz from Geometria Studio for the project "House in the Forest". This is the interior design of the living area, where wood plays the first violin. On the floor and wall appeared an original pattern using the décor Pure Line Retro Aurora. The interior has been enriched with details in the form of brass elements and a semicircular form of the board. The jury was delighted with the unconventional way of exposing the wooden floor, the harmonious nature of the project and the conscious building of space.

 

 

A distinction in the "project" category, went to Anna Raczyńska for her work "Golden Hours". It is a modern, classicist interior combining traditional and contemporary elements, creating a space that is both timeless and current.  The Design Experience Oak Color Oro floor perfectly complements the arrangement with color and arrangement. The jury appreciated the maturity of the project, creativity and the successful combination of interior classics with art and excellent design.

 

 

In the "implementation" category, the main prize was won by Sandra Gałuszka from the Architektownia studio for her work "Rounded shapes and bleached wood in the living area of an apartment in Poznań" with the floor FertigDeska Oak Color Bianco. Textures and colors are a tribute to classic elegance in a modern edition. The whole has been emphasized by rounded shapes that appear in furniture and other furnishings. In their verdict, the jury emphasized the extremely clear nature of the project, consistency in good resources and a high level of implementation.

 

 

The jury awarded a distinction in the category of "implementation" to Marta Domańska for the project "The magic of light" with the FertigParkiet Oak Color Bianco floor. It is the implementation of the day zone, in a house for the family in a beautiful forest environment. Subdued colors, natural materials, soft shapes and natural images outside the window and light co-create the interior. The jury unanimously emphasized the excellent use of light and space, the effective exposure of the floor and the stylistic coherence of the project.


The winners of the 5th edition of the competition were selected by a jury consisting of:

Sebastian Sklepik, Specialist for architects and interior designers, Jawor-Parkiet.
